Additional costs would be for the dormitory which costs around USD 100 to USD 300 a month and food for about USD 4 per meal. If you are granted a scholarship, the tuition fee will be waived and a monthly allowance will be given.

For international graduate students tuition fees, it costs KRW 4,048,000 or USD 3,545 for most departments, KRW 12,600,000 or USD 11,000 for Techno MBA, and KRW 15,910,000 or USD 13,900 for Finance MBA. The dormitory expenses are about KRW 90,000 or USD 80 per month and food for about USD 4 per meal.

KAIST Application Fee

The application fee for both undergraduate and graduate international students is USD 80 or KRW 80,000. The application fee has no waiver program and is non-refundable. Once payment has been made, the application form cannot be changed.

Admissions Requirements for International Students

Admissions eligibility and requirements for international undergraduate students need students to acquire a high school diploma and have foreign citizenship. As part of the required documents, it is expected to submit the application form, transcripts, English proficiency test score, passport, financial resources, and a recommendation letter.

For graduate students, it is required to hold a bachelor’s degree to enroll in a master’s program and hold a master’s degree to enroll in a doctoral program. Students need to maintain a standard grade to keep this KAIST scholarship for international students.

2. Sponsorship

Though it is not a part of KAIST scholarships, you can still apply and choose your selected sponsorship as part of your statement of financial resources. You can be financially supported by the government or organization.
