Before I fled Boko Haram’s den, many schoolgirls have been pregnant.. A scholar of the Faculty of Enterprise and Administration Research in Konduga, Juliana Christopher, who was kidnapped by Boko Haram, has mentioned she noticed many Chibok ladies within the insurgents’ camp.

He added that many small ladies have been both pregnant or nursing kids belonging to the insurgents.

Christopher, in an interview with The PUNCH, mentioned he spent three weeks in Boko Haram camp after the insurgents, who have been wearing army uniforms, stormed her college in Borno State and kidnapped her.

She defined that after she and her colleagues have been kidnapped by the insurgents, they took them into the forest, the place she noticed different victims who have been pregnant and nursing infants of the Boko Haram insurgents.

She mentioned, “On reaching their camp, we met many younger ladies there and the entire place was in disarray. It was in 2014 and I used to be within the Boko Haram camp for 3 weeks. We met Chibok ladies within the camp. Whereas within the camp, I noticed so many small ladies, who have been kidnapped. Some have been being molested.

“Some have been carrying kids, whereas others have been pregnant for the Boko Haram insurgents. It was a disgusting factor. Fortuitously for me and another ladies, we escaped from the forest and located our manner again to Chibok.”

She defined that her father took ailing shortly after she was kidnapped, including that efforts to rescue him proved abortive.

She mentioned, “On attending to Chibok, I discovered the entire neighborhood in a state of confusion; so, I requested after my dad and mom and was instructed that my father took ailing when he heard about my abduction and my mom took him to the hospital in Maiduguri. I got down to go and search for them in Maiduguri, however I couldn’t go far as a result of the street was blocked and no motion was allowed, apart from army automobiles; in that course of, my father died.

“After I heard about my father’s situation, I turned fearful and tried to find my dad and mom within the hospital, not figuring out that he was already lifeless. After I ultimately acquired to the hospital in Maiduguri, my mom had conveyed my father’s corpse to Chibok for burial, so my mom mentioned I ought to keep again to keep away from one other kidnap.

“That was how I acquired to this camp. I couldn’t proceed with my schooling, as a result of my mom alone couldn’t maintain my education and that of my different siblings.”
