Model colleges admission near completion. The Lagos State Education Commissioner, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, has said the admission into Lagos State model colleges and upgraded secondary schools would soon be concluded.

 Speaking at the launch of the Eko digital school at the Ministry of Education conference room on Tuesday, Mrs. Adefisayo said the 2021 model college’s screening test was totally digitized which has helped the process.

Lagos sometimes referred to as Lagos State to distinguish it from Lagos Metropolitan Area, is a state located in the southwestern geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The smallest in area of Nigeria’s 36 states, with a population of over 15 million, Lagos State is arguably the most economically important state of the country, containing Lagos, the nation’s largest urban area. It is a major financial center and would be the fifth-largest economy in Africa if it were a country

“One of the things that we do with technology is the Computer Based Test (CBT). We had CBT for our model schools examinations and within two to three days, the result was out. We have given out the results and in a few days now, we are going to conclude our admissions. This is something that rarely happens,” she said.

 In a statement on Monday, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mrs. Abosede Adelaja, directed candidates who took the entrance examination to visit the Lagos State examinations board portal to check their results using their serial number and PIN provided during the registration process.
